Trickster

I was meant for the sprint, the skirmish.
I neither build nor destroy;
I move bricks.
I'm a wind-up toy
Operating in bursts.
I'm a spurt, a spirit, a spearhead.
A scavenger.

  1. I like the thought of not building or destroying, but modifying what is already there. You can edit the existing. I also like the thought of being a scavenger--it's nice that there's always something to be found. These characteristics are good to remember in your search for that newfangled thing you're still looking for.
    The trickster lifestyle sounds good.

  2. Because matter can neither be created nor destroyed, right?
    Scavenger can be taken two ways. I was also thinking of it like a jackal or hyena, or, especially, a coyote, in following with trickster mythology.
